**Giveaway!!**
In celebration of my daughter’s birthday, I decided to give away a three sets of my wood paneling cupcake wrappers! (Each set includes 12 wrappers.) The giveaway is open to everyone, within the US or not, and it includes shipping. The giveaway will end on Tuesday, April 17th at midnight and the winner will be chosen on April 18th, my daughter’s birthday!
To win, you must reblog this post. Once this post has been reblogged, you can enter a second time by tweeting about the giveaway. Just make sure to add #NellieCakesGiveaway and your tumblr name to the tweet, otherwise it won’t be counted. (Also, make sure I can contact you via your tumblr ask box or through twitter!)
Feel free to check out the other stuff in my etsy shop too!
I’m going to be picking a winner today at 6pm and I’m feeling generous so I’m going to give everyone until then to get their reblogs in, even though I said the giveaway was going to close at midnight yesterday!
Good luck everyone!
The dinosaur ring is back too! I was going to keep everything in my shop one of a kind but the masses have spoken.
And they want dinosaurs.

The pattern is up on Ravelry and Craftsy! I’m going to be adding it to my etsy store right now, so give me 15 minutes and you can buy it there instead, if you want.
Rings! There’s a few more things up too.
It feels good to be back.
They’re (and I’m) back! The etsy shop is open and ready for business. I have a few new things listed, so check them out! I also offer a 15% discount on orders of a 120 or more cupcake wrappers. (Click through to get to the shop!)
I’m going to post a few of the other things in my shop in a minute. Let me know what you think!
I have a few quick questions. I’ve been thinking about switching from selling printed cupcake wrappers to just selling the PDF. Have you ever sold anything in PDF form? What was your experience? What kind of legal mumbo jumbo should I include? Have you ever found someone selling your pattern or image after they bought it from you? If you did, what did you do (or getting more to the point, what should I do if I find that happening)?
I really like the idea of selling a digital file instead of the printed wrappers for obvious reasons: I don’t have to go to the printer, print them all out, cut them out by hand, blacken the edges, buy special envelopes and wrap them in plastic so they don’t get wet, go to the post office and hope they get there, etc.
I’m just afraid of people ripping me off, ya know? I guess I’m asking if the pros of selling a digital file online out weight the cons.
When I send the finished product, I know they most likely won’t be reproduced, at least not to a very high standard. For some reason, wood grain doesn’t seem to scan and then print well. (Which works out well, no?) But emailing a copy would save so much time and energy. Then again, someone who wants 100 wrappers vs someone who wants 12 means no additional profit for me. It also means I don’t have to cut out a 100 wrappers.
Uhg. Someone tell me what makes more sense. I don’t actually mind doing all the work to make the wrappers really. I just don’t like how it cuts into the time I have to create new things. Anyone out there have any suggestions?
But I have ten messages and I don’t want to read them. They’re probably just people asking for my cupcake wrappers, like it always is, but ever since I had that one customer that was a super bitch, I’m afraid that the rest of the people messaging me are the same way.
Yes, I know it’s irrational to feel this way.
Why do the super amazing things have to be so expensive?! I would love this necklace but $54 is a little much for me. Not that she doesn’t deserve it! This is a fantastic design! So I’m throwing it out there just in case someone tin TumblrLand would like to give this artist some much deserved money for her Red Dot Number 3 necklace. (Click through to get to her shop.)
What do I do if I found someone ripping me off?? Technically it could be a coincidence but… it’s obviously a little too much like mine:

Click through to see it in their shop.
They’re even selling it for close to the same price and I offer mine with a silver band too! I have no idea what to do about this.
If anyone is looking for Christmas gifts for me, here’s a hint! Seriously though, someone needs these. Mostly me. But you guys would look great in them too. (Click through. Her whole shop is buy two get one free, as long as the free item is under $20 and with the great prices she already has, everyone seriously needs to check it out. And she doesn’t just have jewelry either!)
How cool is this ring, or should I say, set of rings?! Only $12 too! Click through to buy it. (They have a ton of cool jewelry actually. Check em out!)
It’s up!
Get it before it’s gone! The brain slug (with the headband) I made will be posted at 6pm in my etsy shop and I have no idea how long it will be there (because I’m pretty sure Etsy will pull it since it’s a copyrighted show)! The brain slug was just going to sit in a box so it might as well go to a good home!
Get the word out!
Back by popular demand! (I got three messages for the cupcake wrappers yesterday… So weird.) Get them while they’re hot because once they’re gone I’ll probably be too bust making Christmas gifts to put them back up! lol

I feel like I just found the cure for herpes (not cancer or AIDS. That would be too much). It sticks and can be peeled off and restuck. It can be rolled up like tape and keep its sticky. I am a craft god! (lol sorry.)
This wasn’t common knowledge already, was it?
I’m debating on whether I should let the secret out or not. I want to tell everyone but I also want to keep it a secret so I can sell ribbon and fabric tape in my etsy shop when I open it again.
