10 things about me blah blah blah tag ten people whatnot:

10. I haven’t had a sore throat since I was 16, when they had to carve my tonsils out of my neck after they abscessed. Except for today. Now I’m worried I have strep because that was the only thing that made my throat hurt before. I sound like a muppet right now.

9. Touching the bald spot on Evie’s head makes me shudder. The hair is just so sharp.

8. Touching fleece makes me want to gag. I hate how it feels soft and crunchy at the same time somehow. 

7. Our tax return is lost in the universe somewhere and the phone number they give you to call never sends you to a human to talk to. 

6. I can’t stand cartoons expect for Adventure Time, for some reason. 

5. I think cookie dough ice cream is gross.

4. The two guys I dated seriously before Eric (ie, more than 2 years) never found someone else. Not yet anyway. It’s been 6 years since the last one ended and 10 years since the first one ended. This makes me feel incredibly guilty, like I broke them somehow.

3. I hate shopping for clothes, especially if they’re full price. Most of my clothes have been given to me or I’ve had them for years. Somehow I still have a style, according to Eric. He calls it working class chic, because he says I turn every day things into accessories. I think this is a fantastic compliment.

2. Eric and I have never had a screaming match. We’ve never even really raised our voices at each other before. I know everyone says this isn’t healthy but they’re wrong. We’re just really good at talking things out and compromise. Evie panics when she hears people yell because she so not used to hearing it. To combat that, Eric and I have started yelling stupid things at each other in passing.

1. This took way too long to write. I’m pretty sure you guys know every interesting and non interesting detail about me.

This made me laugh so hard and it hurt but it was totally worth it.
