This isn’t new. I bought my friend’s daughter something like this, except it was washable tattoos when she turned 4, three years ago. Because she wanted to look like her Mommy and her Mommy’s friends. Not because she thought it was “hot”.
I doubt anyone is permanently inking their skin just to look “hot” and “interesting” and assuming attractive women with tattoos are “empty headed bitches” is more than a little insulting. Judgement like this is why women are still shunned for having body modifications. It has to be ok for everyone to have body mods, otherwise the stereotypes will live on forever.
I’d love for tattoos to become more mainstream. Then maybe random strangers won’t feel the need to grab my arms/move my hair to get a better look at my work.
