Knitting makes me want to punch someone in the face.

I’m going to keep practicing. This has to get easier.

The more you do it, the easier it gets. I know that sounds really cliche, but really. Once you find your rhythm, it starts to flow and becomes very meditative.

After I posted that, I put the needles down and crocheted a little bit and it seemed to bring back my yarn mojo and I was able to finish knitting an entire row. Granted, it wasn’t very long but it seemed a lot easier and went a little faster. I think my main problem is finding a comfortable way to hold the yarn. That was my main problem with crochet too. I ended up finding a way to hold the yarn when I crochet that doesn’t match a single diagram I’ve ever seen but it gives me perfect tension. I still can’t decide if I like the continental or the English way of knitting yet but I think I’m leaning towards English. I think I’ll look up different ways to hold the yarn later, after I figure out what to do at the end of the row I finished!
