Well, double cast on. In knitting I mean. I bought those two Stitch ‘N Bitch books and after reading 30 pages in the first one, I’m finally learning how to do something. Not that the beginning of the book was boring, mind you. It was actually very well written and entertaining. I learned a lot of things I didn’t know before, much to Eric’s chagrin. (Whenever I get excited about something new, he get’s to hear me talk about it non-stop. Hearing about knitting can’t be exciting for him.)

I’m really excited about getting this part right. I tried teaching myself how to knit years ago and it was a disaster, much like the crochet was at the time. I wonder what my mental block was all about back then.
